Wow!! Only 44 minutes have gone by before the Local Legends campaign was funded! We're delighted, honored, and ever-so-thankful to you the backers!
Vote for the 8th District
Voting for the 8th District is underway and the competition seems fierce. We can't wait to see which one of the District pitches you'll crown as the 8th District of Local Legends, but whichever one is chosen, we know it will be amazing. Worry not! All other Districts will still get a chance to be featured as Districts either in Local Legends or in future City of Mist installments.

Stretch goals!
With the project funded, now comes the fun part -- reaching all the campaign stretch goals -- to turn a great campaign into a terrific campaign. So let's go!!
- $40k (UNLOCKED!!) Extra Theme Kits: Local Walks-of-Life: This content upgrade will add a set of theme kits across all districts that will focus on routines, professions, and skill sets common in that district or across the City such as a bodega owner, divey bar performer, gambler, etc.
- $50k (UNLOCKED!!) Local Legends Dice (8): Every Vigilante Slipcase will come with eight dice in a new style: Luminous Yellow and Brick Maroon. City of Mist dice are doublesixes, d12s that function as d6. You roll two with every move you make! This stretch goal also unlocks the Local Legends Dice as a physical add-on that you can add to your pledge.
- $60K (LOCKED): Extra Dangers: Street-Level Cronies: This content upgrade will add a range of low-level minions for your PCs to encounter when they venture into the local districts, from back-alley knife muggers through a sudden flux of tourists to the tormented victims of hungry tiger spirits!
- $70K (LOCKED): A New Case "Forged and Framed" by Runesmith is a backwards mystery where instead of pursuing a criminal, the Crew is pursued as criminals themselves. After Pandora's Box is stolen from The Museum, the party has to race against overwhelming opposition to find the truth and prove their innocence!

We are LIVE with Local Legends!!
It is so exciting to be on Kickstarter again with a new City of Mist book. It’s been more than 3 years since the last City of Mist Kickstarter and we are thrilled to return to the smoky alleys of the City to unravel new mysteries and face off with ever-more-wicked myth-powered villains!
Local Legends is a new supplement for City of Mist RPG, that will take a deep dive into the communities and subcultures of the City's districts, expanding them with more lore, new adversaries and allies, new player options, and adding two completely new districts to the City: the long-awaited Chinatown and an eighth district chosen by YOU, the backers!

8TH DISTRICT PITCHES - CHOOSE AND VOTE IN THE COMMENTS!
Fritzberg – A cold breeze whistles through naked tree branches in the gardens of the old District of Fritzberg. Rifts of Norse gods and goddesses whisper of a fast approaching cataclysm – a war of Avatars is brewing that would surely cause a demise of citywide proportions. But, there are those who are working to uncover ancient knowledge that can avert such a disaster, and a crew of streetwise vigilantes might be able to help them achieve that goal.
Happyville – White picket fences hide wild tales of alien abductions, government conspiracies, and all sorts of monstrosities that go bump in the night. Tuck your kids in bed, grab a flashlight, and head out to a literal maze of cul-de-sacs and start following the trail of breadcrumbs. Dig deep to discover why the Gatekeepers have set up shop so extensively in Suburbia, but don’t stay for too long or you may never leave.
Lakeside Drive – Join Lance Sullivan and Dr. Goodfellow to uncover the fate of the disappeared and seemingly forgotten residents of Lakeside Drive in a District where the Seelie Court and the Unseelie Court of the Faes call the shots, and nothing is ever as it seems. Illusions of windmills dissipate to reveal open chasms, but the truth of lost citizens runs deeper than any hole leading to a fairytale kingdom.
Little Italy – Nestled between other blue-collar neighborhoods of the City, Little Italy stands out as a proud community with a long history and rich culture, serving delicious food and strong opinions. Behind the scenes, the Rifts of Romulus and Remus have been fighting for control over the District from the City’s inception – their two families embroiled in a struggle that has the Gatekeepers and the Avatar council of the Truth sleeping with one eye open.
Ocean Heights – No one comes to the southern parts of the Boardwalk anymore. At least no one who values their life (or soul). Ocean Heights was once considered the future of the City – a site for urban development that’s right on the beachfront and full of potential – that is, until the Vidales family moved in. Now, only the walking dead tell the tale of the promise that has never come, while Hades grows ever stronger.
The Campus (University District) – On the hallowed grounds of learning, students congregate and speak of rumors about ancient and macabre rituals that take place behind the closed doors of faculty offices. Deities of Knowledge lead strange cults from within candle-lit caverns under the library’s marble floors – their followers create new realities by simply speaking words of power as they vie to manifest their leaders’ wishes of reaching the mythical Age of Wonder.
